The filigree sheepdog is a little grey collie, the colour usually referred to as blue merle. She was born on a farm but didn't like sheep at all. She is a fictional character as can be deduced from, among other things, the fact that her best friend is a baby dragon. So unlike Thereby Hangs a Tail, which is all true, except I suppose the matter of authorship, the book of her adventures is definitely fiction. I call these tales for children canine fairytales. As a lifelong addict of fairytales I commend them to all fellow addicts.
